Itinerary

Day 1
Base Camp Approach
Pickup from Malang/Surabaya. Drive to trailhead. Trek through dense rainforest to Saddle Valley base camp at 2,911m. Camp under the stars.

Day 2
Welirang Summit & Sulfur Crater
Early summit push to Welirang (3,156m). Explore the dramatic active sulfur crater. Return to camp. Rest and prepare for Arjuno.

Day 3
Arjuno Summit & Descent
Pre-dawn summit attack to Arjuno (3,339m) for sunrise. Return to base camp and full descent to trailhead. Drive back to Malang/Surabaya.

It is our hardest standard tour — rated Hard. The twin-summit route covers significant elevation change over 3 days. Prior trekking experience is recommended.
Is camping equipment provided?+
Yes — tents, sleeping bags, mats, and cooking gear are all carried by our porters. You carry only your personal daypack.
Are all meals included?+
Yes — all meals during the trek are prepared by our crew. Outside the trek (departure/arrival day) meals are not included.
What is the sulfur crater like?+
Welirang has an active sulfur mining operation. The yellow deposits and steaming vents are dramatic. A face covering is recommended near the vents.
Can I do just Welirang without Arjuno?+
